Williow View Cemetery Association

Established in 1897

In 1897, many citizens of Harrison Township, Montgomery County, Ohio, saw a demand and necessity for a final resting place for those who passed on, and established Willow View Cemetery Association. A Charter was secured from the Legislature of Ohio and work began.

From a small tract of land originally purchased, this Cemetery has now grown into one of the leaders in its field. Due to the beautiful surrounding willow trees the name "Willow View" was selected.

We now have approximately 16,000 burials within our 28 acres of land and growing still. The Cemetery with all of its improvements, is a beautiful final resting place for our patrons and their families.

The Association now as in the past is composed of Trustees selected for their integrity, who give their time and thought to maintain the high standard of the Cemetery.

No taxes or assessments are levied to support Willow View. All proceeds from the sale of spaces, lots, packages and other sources, after deducting necessary operating expenses, go to improve, enlarge and beautify the grounds and provide a fund for perpetual care.

From each grave space, lot or package sold an amount specified by the Trustees is deducted and placed in a separate fund designated for perpetual care for the future upkeep of the Cemetery. Gifts from grave space, lot and package owners will also be accepted for this purpose.

It is the ambition and desire of the Trustees of Willow View Cemetery Association to help in providing for the future upkeep of the Cemetery. Furthermore, so that in the process of time, when the Cemetery becomes wholly occupied, the interest derived from this fund will carry on the beauty and Willow View will never suffer neglect.
